On a score of 1-10, how would you rate Memphis, Tennessee.?

Even thought I'm a big fan of one day going there, I am told it is not that great a place, full of strife and violence, but at the same time there is the Blues and the legacy of Graceland... Anyway, for those of you who know it, how is the placce?
