Creaking sound when stopping.?

I have a 2006 Mazda3 that creaks very loudly when coming to a stop. The sound can be produced while parked though, by pushing on the back. I've taken it to my dealership & they cant and wont spend time chasing the noise to get rid of it. Anybody have any ideas what this could be?
