E) Explain how the question below about computer simulations of society involves fractals.?
If we could achieve sufficient computer power, it would be natural to “simulate the world” to observe what would happen in various governmental and social systems. If people could be accurately simulated, then they would behave just like “real” people, and would invent “simulated computers” and “artificial artificial intelligence.” They would then proceed to simulate their simulation, and so on and so on. Most people, then, would be “simulated people,” not “real people.” But then any particular person would be most likely to be simulated. Does this mean you are probably simulated rather than real? Why or why not?
