Panasonic PV GS80 firewire help.please help?

for the panasonic pv gs80 camcorder,it takes firewire instead of usb,and my computer doesnt have a firewire port,i know i can buy a firewire port and install it,but is there any kind of adaptor that you plug the firewire cord into and it goes into the usb port on my computer?
